Latest Updates from Our Project:

24-hour sale: Our coin vaults are moving!
3 months ago – Sun, Jan 14, 2024 at 10:03:54 PM

Citizens of Absalom!

Here is our final update for the Pathfinder Coins of Absalom project. Our mail room is moving (and will be closed for a month) so we wanted to let you know in case you are missing any coins, or would like some more.

Get 15% off all coins

We are moving our mail room. That's a lot of metal, so we're having a sale across our entire range to lighten the load.

Until midnight Monday 15 January, you can get 15% off everything on our site.

Be quick, you have 24 hours! Enter this code at checkout, or just use this link:
MOVINGSALE

Our last shipping day from the current location is 16 January. The website will then be closed for new orders for a month while we get everything moved and set up. You will still be able to contact us, and to log in to check the status of your order.

Did you get all your Pathfinder coins?

If not, please contact us immediately so that we can sort it out before the move.

By immediately, I mean right now!

Project we love

Now in its last day on Kickstarter, check out the gorgeous Wayfinder Compass from our good friends at Type 40. This stunning prop is not only a gorgeous thing on your desk or on the gaming table, it's an actual working compass! This will be a great companion piece to your Absalom coins.

Thanks again

We hope you're getting your coins to the table. My new Pathfinder group finished the Beginner Box, and now they're deep into Troubles in Otari and just starting to explore the Abomination Vaults. We use the coins every single session. I have a feeling that a lot of that gold is going straight to Wrin Sivinxi in exchange for some sweet magic items, which is exactly why we made them.

Thanks again for your support for us and this project, and one more shout out to the awesome humans at Paizo who have made such an inspirational world to adventure in, and to Brian Patterson for his marvelous coin designs based on the Absalom buildings. Game on!

Best,

Mark, with Andre, Jackson & Maddison

Coins of Absalom now on sale, with a backer bonus
6 months ago – Wed, Nov 01, 2023 at 11:40:08 PM

Citizens of Absalom!

We believe that you all have your coins now, so they are now available on our website:

Thanks so much for making these happen! I love playing with them, and hope you do too.

Need more coins? Here's a bonus for you

We have a limited supply of Kickstarter Bonus sets left over. You deserve them more than anyone. So, if you order more coin sets, and if you are a backer, we will upgrade any regular coin sets to bonus sets at no extra charge.

Please add this note to your order:

"I backed the Kickstarter! Please upgrade my coin sets to the bonus sets."

The fine print:

Did you get your Kickstarter pledge?

Perhaps I should have put this first:

Did you get all your coins?

If you did not get your parcel, or if anything was wrong, please let us know. We are holding back some stock for misplaced orders, but we can't hold them forever, so let us know.

That's all for now

Thanks again, everyone! We would absolutely love to hear if you've been using the coins, and any other thoughts. There have been a few comments (keep 'em coming!) including some questions we'll answer next update. But, time for me to go, as (believe it or not) my Pathfinder game starts soon! Here's the compass on my table, with my build for the fishery from Troubles in Otari for tonight's game. I have a new group, and they are loving Pathfinder.

What characters did they create once we finished the Beginner Box, you ask? Two leshies, a ratfolk and a gnome walked into an Otari bar. Kyra is looking at them, wondering where the heck Valeros, Merisiel and Evren went.

Game on!

All international orders shipped! Plus, Gen Con update.

See you at Booth 230 - Gen Con 2023

Citizens of Absalom!

Andre, Jackson and myself are at Gen Con. We're jet lagged to heck but excited to be back after four years away. If you're at the show come visit us at Booth #230, we're just behind Paizo and back a bit.

Meanwhile at home, Maddison & Josh have powered through all of the remaining international orders! They have all been collected, and are winging their way to you, sphinx-style.

Final international parcels

The Australian orders will go out Wed 9 August, which is the day that Jackson and I don't exist: we're flying home across the dateline, departng Tuesday, flying through a non existent Wednesday and arriving on Thursday. Australia is a country out of time and space.

Here's my favourite pledge combo, which I like to call the Absalom Deep Six: one of each set, the Absalom token, and the Pathfinder Compass.

Sets, compass and token

Last time we asked if you would mind if we sold the Pathfinder Coins of Absalom at Gen Con, even though we had not sent them all, and we were really moved by your generous replies to go for it. Thank you.

But, as it turns out, they didn't arrive! So, you'll still be the first to get them, which is the way it should be.

One thing that did arrive was the shipment of Pathfinder Compasses we sent to Paizo, so those will be at the show. We hope that's okay; we never saw them as a Kickstarter exclusive, more something we have always wanted to make and now was a good time. They are in the Paizo booth #203.

Thanks again, all. Wherever you are, have a good weekend.

Best,

Mark, with Andre, Jackson & Maddison

Mega batch of parcels shipped, but more to pack
9 months ago – Thu, Jul 27, 2023 at 05:02:47 AM

Line of parcels ready to ship

Citizens of Absalom,

Behold! 201 parcels, picked up this morning and now on the way to you. If your parcel was among this first batch, you should have received a tracking number from our website.

Jackson has printed all remaining labels and invoices in preparation for next week's mail out. There are 148 more pledges to pick and pack, the remaining international parcels, and all of the Australian ones. Things should go faster now that all of the software gremlins have finally been stomped out. Maddison will be on hand next week to carry on, and we're recruiting extra help. Jackson and I fly for Gen Con tomorrow, and Andre is already on the way.

So, we come to the situation we did not want to be in: we've gone hard to get these out before the show, but there's a chance we won't get every single parcel out the door.

If we don't hit our deadline, we feel that we can't sell the coins at the show, as we promised you we'd get these out the door to you first.

Please let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Best,

Mark, with Andre, Jackson & Maddison

Packing continues, and continues, and continues
9 months ago – Sun, Jul 23, 2023 at 05:32:04 AM

Citizens of Absalom,

We are about halfway through packing all of the orders for this Kickstarter. We have two days packing time each week, and there are 350 parcels to get through. We're double checking them all to make sure you get what you pledged for.

We're not going as quickly as we had hoped. We've had some illness in the team (me, actually, lost a week there), and all manner of trouble getting our regular shipping software to import the data, with the final breakthrough last Thursday.

We will keep at it, and let you know our progress at the end of next week.

It's been really enjoyable working with the final coins, and seeing all your selections. We really think you're going to have fun playing with these.

More soon,

Best

Mark, with Andre, Jackson, & Maddison
